Ratings for the 2009 NFL Draft held steady from last year.

ESPN drew a 3.4 U.S. rating (4.0 cable) and 5.06 million viewers for coverage of the first round of the NFL Draft on Saturday, flat in ratings and up 1% in viewership from a 3.4 and 5.03 million last year.

The two NFL Drafts since the league moved the start time from 12 PM ET have been the two lowest rated of the past five years.

The NFL Draft finished as the third most viewed sporting event of the week on cable, behind two WWE Raw telecasts on USA Network, but ahead of Yankees/Red Sox and the NBA Playoffs.
