Ratings and viewership for every NCAA Women’s Basketball National Championship Game since 1999. Both U.S. and coverage area ratings are presented.

Over the past ten years, the National Championship game has averaged a 2.7 U.S. rating on ESPN. Only one game has failed to draw at least a 2.0 rating — the 2007 game between Tennessee and Rutgers.

The last time Connecticut played in the national title game, it drew a record 3.5 U.S. rating (2004). Connecticut’s four trips to the title game since ’99 have averaged a 3.1 U.S. rating, 15% higher than the 2.7 average.

This is Louisville’s first trip to the National Championship Game.
