- Nick Charles: The Showtime boxing announcer will make his return to the network on Friday, following a battle with bladder cancer. Charles, who last called action for Showtime in July, told USA Today that he is 80% in remission. (USA Today)
- Mike Breen: The ESPN/ABC NBA play-by-play voice will call Wednesday’s Wake Forest/North Carolina college basketball game on ESPN — part of an ‘announcing swap’ that will result in college basketball analyst Dick Vitale calling an NBA game. This will be Breen’s first non-NBA assignment for ESPN.
