Tiger Woods will make his return to the game of golf at the sport’s most storied event.
Woods announced on Tuesday that he will compete in The Masters this April, the first time he has played competitive golf since his infidelity scandal broke last November.
“The Masters is where I won my first major, and I view this tournament with great respect,” Woods said in a statement on his website. “After a long and necessary time away from the game, I feel like I’m ready to start my season at Augusta.”
The first two rounds of The Masters will air on ESPN on April 8 and 9. CBS will carry the next two rounds on April 10 and 11.
