  • Taped coverage of the NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Championships drew a 0.6 final rating on CBS last Saturday, down 14% from both last year (0.7) and 2008 (0.7), and down 33% from 2007 (0.9). (Sports Business Daily)
  • Last Saturday’s edition of ESPN Sports Saturday drew a 0.4 final rating on ABC, down a tick from the previous week’s episode (0.5), and the second-lowest rating in the show’s young history. ESPN Sports Saturday finished tied as the second-lowest rated sporting event on broadcast last weekend, ahead of only the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Year in Review (0.3). (Sports Business Daily)
  • The NASCAR Nationwide Series Royal Purple 200 from Darlington drew 1.4 million viewers on ESPN2 May 7, down 2% from last year (1.5 mil). One week earlier, the Bubba Burger 250 from Richmond drew 1.4 million viewers on ESPN2, down 13% from last year. (ESPN)
