Can you please explain for a dummy like me how both IndyCar & WNBA can be said to have had a 0.2 rating when the WBNA’s 251,000 viewers is just 63% of the number said to have watched IndyCar?

Ratings reflect the number of households, rather than the number of viewers. I’d gather that the IndyCar race and the WNBA game drew a similar number of households, but the IndyCar race had more viewers.
