- Brian Williams: In advance of the Saints hosting the NFL season opener, the NBC News anchor will host Thursday’s edition of NBC Nightly News from New Orleans’ Lower Ninth Ward. Later Thursday, a Williams report on the five year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina will be featured during NBC’s NFL Kickoff 2010 pregame telecast. (Fang’s Bites 1, 2)
- Jimmy Johnson: The FOX NFL Sunday analyst will join Sam Rosen and Tim Ryan via satellite for Sunday’s 49ers/Seahawks game. FOX plans to have studio analysts “drop-in” on games throughout the season. (Fang’s Bites, USA Today)
- Kurt Warner: The former NFL QB has joined NFL Network as a studio analyst for NFL Total Access and a contributor for other unspecified programming. Warner, who will also work as a game analyst for FOX this season, previously called Arena Football League games for NFL Network. (Fang’s Bites)
