NBC had a modest decline in overnight ratings for the latest edition of Sunday Night Football.
The Patriots’ Sunday night win over the Steelers earned a 14.2 overnight rating on NBC, down 6% from Week 10 last year (NE/IND: 15.1), but up 15% from Week 10 in 2008 (NYG/PHI: 12.4)
Last year’s game featured the undefeated Colts edging the Patriots by one point.
Of the eleven NFL telecasts on NBC this season, Patriots/Steelers tied for the fifth-highest overnight.
Pittsburgh (49.2) and Boston (37.0) were the top markets for Sunday’s game, followed by Providence, RI (27.1), Baltimore (21.9) and Las Vegas (21.4).
