- ESPN2 averaged a 0.9 U.S. rating and 1.416 million viewers for college football coverage during the 2010 season, according to Sports Business Daily — down 10% in ratings and 5% in viewership from last year (1.0, 1.492 mil), and even in ratings and up 5% in viewership from 2008 (0.9, 1.350 mil). - Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic is averaging a 1.56 rating for Capitals games this season (27 telecasts), up 30% from the comparable point last year. The Capitals are outdrawing the Wizards, whose first 17 telecasts on CSN MA averaged a 1.47 rating. (voices.washingtonpost.com)
- Saturday evening’s Indiana/Kentucky game drew a 1.6 U.S. rating and 2.588 million viewers on ESPN, the day’s top college basketball telecast on ESPN or ESPN2.
