30 Rocked: Tracy Morgan Not Shy About Palin on TNT Pregame

30 Rock star Tracy Morgan had some surprising comments about Fox News analyst Sarah Palin during TNT’s NBA pregame show Thursday night.

Morgan briefly joined TNT’s Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith and Charles Barkley at Madison Square Garden during Thursday’s special one-hour NBA pregame show on TNT.

After some discussion about NBA All-Stars, Smith asked Morgan whether he prefers co-worker and 30 Rock creator Tina Fey or Palin, who Fey has often impersonated.

This led to Morgan referring to Palin as, quote, “good masturbation material.”

Within moments, needless to say, he was no longer on the air.

A Turner Sports spokesman said of the incident, “It’s unfortunate Mr. Morgan showed a lack of judgment on our air with his inappropriate comments. We apologize for any embarrassment or offense it may have caused.”

Earlier Thursday, Barkley made a brief comment about Palin’s attractiveness on CNN’s American Morning.

“I think she’s good looking,” he told host T.J. Holmes, before expressing doubt over her chances to win the Republican presidential nomination in 2012. “I like her. But the good old boy network is not going to let a woman be the frontrunner of their party.”
