Recent sports TV ratings news, including the Australian Open on ESPN2, Pardon the Interruption on ESPN, and NHL Overtime on Versus.

  • Coverage of the Australian Open men’s and women’s quarterfinals drew a 0.8 U.S. rating and 1.141 million viewers on ESPN2 Wednesday night. Going back further, the net earned a 0.6 and 827,000 viewers for Tuesday night coverage (7PM-2AM ET), a 0.8 and 996,000 on Monday night (9PM-2AM ET) and a 0.4 and 627,000 on Sunday night (7PM-2AM ET).   • For the second time in three nights, Pardon the Interruption was the highest rated, most-viewed program of the evening on ESPN or ESPN2. Wednesday’s episode drew a 1.0 U.S. rating and 1.330 million viewers, topping aforementioned Australian Open coverage on ESPN2 as well as college basketball (TEX/OKST: 0.6, 883K) and the NBA (SA/UTAH: 0.8, 1.263 mil) on ESPN.
