Idle Notes: The T.O. Show Renewed for Third Season


Recent sports media news, including Versus adding Notre Dame programming, TBS announcing its early MLB schedule, and VH1 renewing The T.O. Show for a third season.

  • Versus will televise the April 16 Notre Dame spring football game, the first time the event has been nationally. The network will also air three classic Notre Dame football games on St. Patrick’s Day, during a six-hour block that will also include “in-depth interviews” with current Notre Dame football coach Brian Kelly and others.   • TBS announced the first portion of its 2011 Major League Baseball schedule on Monday. The network will open the season with Red Sox/Rangers on April 3, the first of six telecasts to feature either the Red Sox or Yankees through May. (Turner Sports)
  • VH1 has renewed The T.O. Show, a reality show starring NFL WR Terrell Owens, for a third season. The third season is scheduled to debut this summer. (
