Marc Fein Exits Turner Sports

For the second time this summer, one of Turner Sports’ on-air personalities is heading elsewhere.

NBA TV anchor and TNT/TBS reporter Marc Fein “has decided to pursue other opportunities,” Sports Media Watch learned Monday.

Fein, who had been with Turner Sports since 2004, served as a sideline reporter during the NBA Playoffs and Major League Baseball Division Series, and once hosted TNT’s NASCAR studio show.

Prior to joining Turner, he worked for CNN and the defunct CNN/SI from 1999 to 2000 in a variety of capacities.

According to an unverified Twitter account purportedly belonging to Fein, he will be covering Tampa Bay Buccaneers camp on Monday for NFL Network. There was no immediate confirmation that would be the case.

Fein’s departure comes just weeks after TNT NASCAR host Lindsay Czarniak left the network to become a SportsCenter anchor for ESPN.
