- Diamondbacks Hit Three-Year High on FS Arizona: Tuesday’s Diamondbacks/Giants game drew a 6.6 rating on Fox Sports Arizona in the Phoenix market, a season-high, and tied as the highest Diamondbacks rating on the network since August 2008 (6.7). - NBC Tops Out at 1.2 Million For Swimming World Championships: Coverage of the 2011 FINA World Championships earned a 0.8 final rating and 1.245 million viewers on NBC July 30, the event’s highest rated, most-viewed window. The next day, additional coverage earned a 0.7 and 1.124 million.
- Miscellaneous ratings notes: Final round coverage of the 2011 U.S. Senior Open drew a 0.6 final rating and 876,000 viewers on NBC last Sunday, while third round action earned a 0.5 and 785,000. … Coverage of X Games 17 drew a 0.6 and 872,000 viewers on ABC July 30. … Horse racing’s Haskell Invitational Stakes scored a 0.8 and 1.295 million for ABC last Sunday. … Taped coverage of the Women’s British Open drew a woeful 0.3 and 396,000 viewers on ABC, also last Sunday.
