Week 3 Wrap: All Four CBS Games This Season Down From ’10

Ratings and viewership dropped once again for the NFL on CBS.

The Week 3 NFL singleheader window drew an 11.5 final rating and 18.898 million viewers on CBS last Sunday, down 10% in ratings and 15% in viewership from last year (DAL/HOU*: 12.8, 22.237M, FOX), and down 3% and 2%, respectively, from 2009 (ATL/NE*: 11.9, 19.330M, FOX).

All four NFL telecasts on CBS this season have had declines in both ratings and viewership compared to last year. Two of those four telecasts have suffered double-digit declines.

CBS is not the only network suffering from slumping NFL ratings. All four of ESPN’s Monday Night Football telecasts have had declines compared to last year.
