NFL Week 10: Despite Decline, Strong Numbers For FOX National Window
Though down slightly from last year, Sunday’s NFL national window scored strong numbers on FOX.
The Week 10 NFL national window, featuring Giants/49ers in 70% of markets, earned a 17.2 overnight rating on FOX Sunday — down 2% from Week 10 last year (DAL/NYG*: 17.6), and up 2% from Week 10 in 2009 (DAL/GB*: 16.9).
The 17.2 is tied as the third-highest NFL overnight of the season, behind only the Week 9 national window (NYG/NE*: 18.9), and the Week 6 national window (DAL/NE*: 19.1), both of which aired on FOX.
For the ninth time in ten weeks this season, the NFL national window drew a higher overnight than NBC’s Sunday night game.
Overnight ratings for the first half of Sunday’s doubleheader (featuring Saints/Falcons in 65% of markets) were not immediately available.
