NFL Week 10: Overnights Down Double-Digits For ‘MNF’

Once one of the marquee games on the NFL calendar, Vikings/Packers was hardly a blockbuster for ESPN Monday night.

The Week 10 edition of Monday Night Football, pitting the 2-6 Vikings against the undefeated Packers, earned a 9.2 overnight rating on ESPN — down 12% from Week 10 last year (PHI/WSH: 10.5), but up 24% from Week 10 in 2009 (BAL/CLE: 7.4).

This marks the seventh time in eleven telecasts this season that overnight ratings have declined from last year for Monday Night Football.

In addition, the telecast was the seventh of the season to earn less than a 10.0 overnight, compared to just six such telecasts all of last season.
