For the fourth time in the past five weeks, overnight ratings improved for ESPN’s Monday Night Football.

The Week 12 edition of Monday Night Football, pitting the Giants against the Saints, earned a 10.0 overnight rating on ESPN — up 23% from Week 12 last year (SF/ARI: 8.1), but down 31% from Week 12 in 2009 (NE/NO: 14.4).

Keep in mind the 2009 game earned the highest overnight rating ever for Monday Night Football on ESPN.

The 10.0 overnight is the fifth-highest of the season for Monday Night Football (thirteen telecasts). This marks the fourth time in the past five weeks — and the fifth time in the last seven weeks — that MNF has had an increase in overnight ratings compared to last year.
