NBC got a solid boost in the overnights from Sunday’s Ravens/Steelers clash.
The Week 9 edition of Sunday Night Football, pitting the Ravens against the Steelers, earned a 14.2 overnight rating on NBC — up 15% from Week 9 last year (DAL/GB: 12.4), and down a tick from Week 9 in 2009 (DAL/PHI: 14.3).
The Ravens’ win ranks fifth out of the ten NFL telecasts on NBC this season.
Sunday Night Football trailed the NFL national window for the eighth time in nine weeks this season.
Sunday’s game earned a 53.0 in Pittsburgh and a 45.0 in Baltimore. Las Vegas (19.2) was the top neutral market, with Cincinnati (19.1), Washington, DC (17.7) and Richmond (17.7) rounding out the top five.
