NFL ratings continue to rise on FOX.

The Week 8 NFL singleheader window, featuring Lions/Broncos in 29% of markets, earned a 10.3 final rating and 17.110 million viewers on FOX last Sunday, up 20% in ratings and 23% in viewership from last year (JAX/DAL*: 8.6, 13.963M, CBS), and up 23% and 27%, respectively, from 2009 (NYJ/MIA*: 8.4, 13.522M, CBS).

Eight of the twelve NFL telecast windows on FOX this season have had increases in ratings and viewership compared to last year.

For the season, FOX is averaging a 12.0 rating and 19.8 million viewers for NFL coverage, up 4% in ratings and viewership from last year (11.5, 19.0M), and “an all-time high” through this point of the season (Sports Business Daily, 11/4/11).
