ESPN earned a 2.9 U.S. rating and 4.603 million viewers for coverage of the Heisman Trophy Presentation Saturday night, up 26% in ratings and 22% in viewership from last year (2.3, 3.784M), but down 17% and 23%, respectively, from 2009 (3.5, 5.990M).
This marks the second-most viewed edition of the Heisman Trophy Presentation on ESPN. Only the aforementioned 2009 edition drew more viewers.
The three most-viewed Heisman telecasts on ESPN have taken place in the past five years (2007, 2009, 2011).
