Fmr. ESPN Analyst Lavin Joins CBS/Turner as Studio Guest

As is tradition, current college coaches will stop by the CBS/Turner Sports studios for NCAA Tournament coverage.

Former ESPN college basketball analyst and current St. John’s head men’s basketball coach Steve Lavin will join Ernie Johnson Jr., Kenny Smith, Charles Barkley, Greg Gumbel and Greg Anthony in CBS’ New York studios for this weekend’s NCAA Tournament coverage, CBS/Turner Sports announced Wednesday.

Lavin served as a college basketball analyst for ESPN from 2004-10 before joining St. John’s.

Meanwhile, Villanova head men’s basketball coach Jay Wright will join CBS/Turner for the second straight year, working alongside Matt Winer, Steve Smith and Seth Davis from Turner’s Atlanta studios Wednesday through Friday.
