NBC earned mixed numbers for weekend coverage of the recent Accenture Match Play Championship.
Final round coverage of the PGA Tour WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship earned a 2.3 final rating and 3.335 million viewers on NBC February 26, up 35% in ratings and 30% in viewership from last year (1.7, 2.559M).
The tournament was the fourth straight to have a double-digit increase in ratings and viewership for final round coverage. Once final ratings for the Honda Classic are released later this week, the streak should extend to five.
The previous day, third round action drew a 1.3 final rating and 1.863 million viewers, down 24% in ratings and viewership compared to last year (1.7, 2.440M).
