Golf Update: Transitions Championship Continues Trend of Double-Digit Increases

Ratings and viewership for the PGA Tour continue to trend well above last year’s numbers.

Final round coverage of the PGA Tour Transitions Championship drew a 1.8 final rating and 2.562 million viewers March 18, up 29% in ratings and 32% in viewership from last year (1.4, 1.945M).

The Transitions Championship was the seventh straight PGA Tour tournament to have a double-digit increase in ratings and viewership for final round coverage.

The previous day, third round action drew a 1.1 and 1.563 million viewers, up a tick in ratings and 14% in viewership from last year (1.0, 1.374M).
