NFL Schedule: NBC to Air Manning’s Broncos Debut, Pats/Jets on Thanksgiving

The 2012-13 NFL regular season schedule was released on Tuesday, with Peyton Manning‘s Broncos debut highlighting the early season schedule on NBC.

NBC will televise nineteen regular NFL season games during the 2012-13 season, one more than in previous years. The extra game comes courtesy of the new NFL television deals signed late last year, which grant NBC the Thanksgiving night game which previously aired on NFL Network.

The network begins the season with the Cowboys/Giants Kickoff Game on Wednesday, September 5, followed by Steelers/Broncos in Manning’s Broncos debut on Sunday, September 9.

Other notable games include Lions/49ers on September 16 (a rematch of last year’s controversial matchup), an AFC title game rematch between the Patriots and Ravens on September 23, the Saints facing Manning’s Broncos opposite the World Series on October 28, and Patriots/Jets in the previously mentioned Thanksgiving night window.
