One day before final round coverage stumbled to an eight-year low, overnight ratings dropped by a quarter for third round coverage of The Masters.
Saturday’s third round coverage of The Masters drew a 5.1 overnight rating on CBS, down 25% from last year (6.8), and down 33% from 2010 (7.6).
The 5.1 overnight marks an 11% decline from the last time the tournament took place on Easter weekend (2009: 5.7).
As noted earlier, final round coverage drew an 8.1 overnight, down 22% from last year and the third-lowest of the past twenty years.
