Viewership for the 2012 NBA Playoffs on TNT continues to trail last year’s record pace.

Game 2 of the Sixers/Bulls NBA playoff series drew 3.108 million viewers on TNT Tuesday night, down 34% from Knicks/Celtics Game 2 last year (4.730M), but up 8% from Heat/Celtics Game 2 in 2010 (2.874M).

Later in the night, Game 2 between the Nuggets and Lakers drew 3.931 million viewers — up 2% from Trail Blazers/Mavericks Game 2 last year (3.831M), and up 5% from Thunder/Lakers Game 2 in 2010 (3.741M).

Compared to Game 2 of the Lakers’ first round series against the Hornets last year (5.932M), Tuesday’s game was down 27%.

Of the first six primetime NBA playoff games on TNT this year, four have suffered declines in viewership.
