Overnight ratings declined for the 2012 NBA Draft.
First and second round coverage of the NBA Draft drew a 2.3 overnight rating on ESPN Thursday night, according to Sports Business Daily, down 8% from last year (2.5), and even with 2010 (2.3).
The draft actually drew a lower overnight than the NBA Draft Lottery in May (2.7).
For some perspective, first round coverage of the 2012 NFL Draft drew a 4.8 overnight in April.
