Stanley Cup Final: Two Million Viewers For Game 4; Still Down From ’11

After fewer than two million viewers watched Game 3, viewership bounced back somewhat for Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final.

Game 4 of the Devils/Kings Stanley Cup Final drew 2.069 million viewers on NBC Sports Network Wednesday night, down 24% from Bruins/Canucks Game 4 last year (2.714M), and down 34% from Blackhawks/Flyers Game 4 on a Friday night in 2010 (3.126M).

The game ranks as the second-least viewed Stanley Cup Final telecast on any network since Ducks/Senators Game 3 on NBC in 2007 (1.631M). Only Monday’s Game 3 drew fewer viewers.

Overall, Games 3 and 4 of Devils/Kings rank as the least-viewed Stanley Cup Final telecasts on NBC Sports Network (previously VERSUS and OLN) since 2007, when Games 1 and 2 of Senators/Ducks failed to draw even one million viewers.
