NBC suffered a modest decline in overnight ratings for Monday’s coverage of the 2012 London Olympics.
Tape delayed primetime coverage of the 2012 Summer Olympics drew a 17.5 overnight rating on NBC Monday night, down 7% from Beijing in 2008 (18.9).
Overnight ratings for the comparable night of the 2004 Athens Olympics were not immediately available.
The 17.5 also marks a 10% decline from primetime coverage on Sunday night (19.5), and a 13% drop from coverage the previous Monday (20.1).
