Friday’s Boise State/Michigan State college football game drew a 2.7 U.S. rating and 4.194 million viewers on ESPN — up 29% in ratings and 32% in viewership from TCU/Baylor last year (2.1, 3.178M).
The game ranks as the third-most viewed Friday night college football game ever on ESPN, trailing only Arizona/Oregon (7.787M) and Boise State/Nevada (5.449M) on ‘Black Friday’ in 2010.
Friday’s game outdrew Clemson/Auburn on ESPN the following night (2.1, 3.582M).
