NFL Week 2: Strong Numbers For FOX Singleheader, But Down Slightly

With the Giants and Cowboys in action, albeit not against each other, the NFL singleheader window earned strong numbers on FOX.

The Week 2 NFL singleheader window, featuring Cowboys/Seahawks in 26% of markets, earned a 13.3 overnight rating on FOX Sunday afternoon — down 2% from coverage featuring Bears/Saints last year (13.6), but up 8% from coverage featuring Bears/Cowboys in 2010 (12.3).

The telecast also included Buccaneers/Giants in 22% of markets.

Sunday’s telecast finished not far behind the NFL national window on CBS (14.4) and “Sunday Night Football” on NBC (13.9).
