The second straight extra inning game between the Orioles and Yankees topped NFL action — albeit on NFL Network — head-to-head Thursday night.
Game 4 of the Orioles/Yankees American League Division Series drew a 4.6 overnight rating on TBS Thursday night, unsurprisingly down 37% from Tigers/Yankees Game 5 on the comparable night of last year’s postseason (7.3).
Thursday’s game topped the Steelers/Titans NFL “Thursday Night Football” game on NFL Network (4.4) head-to-head.
Despite competition from the NFL and the vice presidential debate, the 4.6 overnight for Game 4 marked a mere 6% decline from a 4.9 overnight for Game 3 the previous night.
