The second-to-last game of the American League Championship Series scored another massive year-over-year increase on TBS.

Game 3 of the Yankees/Tigers American League Championship Series drew 6.180 million viewers on TBS Tuesday night, up 44% from Brewers/Cardinals Game 3 last year, but down 25% from Rangers/Yankees Game 3 in 2010 (8.214M).

Compared to Game 3 of last year’s Rangers/Tigers ALCS on FOX (8.395M), viewership for Tuesday’s game declined 26%.

Of note, Tuesday’s game was up only 2% from Yankees/Tigers Game 3 in the Division Series last year (6.046M).

Keep in mind Game 3 faced competition from the second presidential debate, which attracted 65.6 million viewers across various networks.

Among adults 18-49, Game 3 drew a 2.0 rating — up from Game 2 Sunday afternoon (1.4), but down from Game 1 on Saturday night (2.2).
