Week 10 Wrap: Fewer Viewers For Cowboys/Eagles National Window


Despite featuring two of the highest-profile teams in football, last week’s NFL national window suffered a decline in ratings and viewership on FOX.

The Week 10 NFL national window, featuring Cowboys/Eagles, earned a 14.7 final rating and 24.321 million viewers on FOX last Sunday — down 6% in ratings and 8% in viewership from coverage featuring Giants/49ers last year (15.6, 25.938M), and down 5% and 7%, respectively, from coverage featuring Cowboys/Giants in 2010 (15.5, 26.226M).

The telecast ranks as the third-highest rated (tie) and fourth-most viewed NFL national window of the season on any network.

For the seventh time in ten weeks this season, the national window topped NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” (12.4, 20.860M).

Final ratings/viewership were not available for the first game of the FOX doubleheader.
