Considering the unattractive nature of the matchup, NFL Network earned solid numbers for last week’s matchup between the 3-6 Bills and 4-5 Dolphins.
The Week 11 Dolphins/Bills “Thursday Night Football” game drew a 3.4 U.S. rating and 5.4 million viewers on NFL Network, down 21% in ratings and 24% in viewership from Jets/Broncos last year (4.3, 7.1M), but up 3% and down 1%, respectively, from Bears/Dolphins in 2010 (3.3, 5.4M).
Keep in mind last year’s Jets/Broncos game ranks among the ten-most viewed ever on NFL Network.
Though down from last year, Dolphins/Bills earned the best numbers for “Thursday Night Football” since Seahawks/49ers in Week 7.
With that said, the numbers were also the fourth-worst of the season for the NFL on any network.
