For the fourth time in six telecasts this season, the NFL national window on FOX suffered a decline from last year.
The Week 12 NFL national window, featuring Niners/Saints, drew 24.9 million viewers on FOX Sunday — down 5% from coverage featuring Patriots/Eagles last year (26.2M), and down 6% from coverage featuring Eagles/Bears in 2010 (26.6M). Final ratings for the game were not immediately available.
As mentioned previously, this marks the fourth time in six telecasts that viewership has declined for the NFL national window on FOX. CBS, by comparison, has had declines for three of six telecasts.
Despite the drop, the telecast ranks as the third-most viewed national window of the season, and the sixth-most viewed telecast overall.
