FOX hit a season-high in viewership for NFL action on Thanksgiving Day, but was still down from last year.

The Week 12 Washington/Dallas NFL regular season game drew a 13.5 final rating and 28.7 million viewers on FOX, down 6% in ratings and 7% in viewership from Dolphins/Cowboys on CBS last year (14.3, 30.9M), and down 3% and 10%, respectively, from Saints/Cowboys in 2010 (13.9, 31.9M).

The game earned the largest NFL audience of the season, topping the previous mark of 27.6 million for Steelers/Broncos in Week 1.

With that said, the game also ranks as the least-viewed late afternoon Thanksgiving Day game since Raiders/Cowboys in ’09 (25.2M).
