Car Tops Week on ESPN: Last week’s Clemson/South Carolina college football game drew a 1.7 U.S. rating and 3.0 million viewers on ESPN, the network’s top college football telecast of the holiday weekend. Earlier in the day, Oklahoma State/Oklahoma drew a 1.5 and 2.3 million, and Georgia/Georgia Tech earned a 1.4 and 2.3 million. The weekend’s top game on ESPN2 was Wisconsin/Penn State (1.2, 2.0M), and the leader on ESPNU was Mississippi/Mississippi State (0.3, 0.5M). (Son of the Bronx)
- NBA on ESPN Down Thus Far: ESPN has averaged 1.9 million viewers for NBA regular season coverage this season (does not include Friday’s Nuggets/Lakers game), down 11% from the comparable point of the 2010-11 season (2.1M).
