Week 14 Wrap: Despite Blowouts, National Window Strong on FOX

The drawing power of the Saints and Giants overcame a lopsided result Sunday afternoon.

The Week 14 NFL national window, featuring the Giants’ 25-point victory over the Saints, earned a 14.8 final rating and 24.5 million viewers on FOX — up 17% in ratings and 18% in viewership from coverage featuring Raiders/Packers last year (12.7, 20.8M), but down 15% and 19%, respectively, from coverage featuring Patriots/Bears in 2010 (17.5, 30.5M).

The telecast, which also included the Seahawks’ 58-0 win over the Cardinals, is tied as the 7th-most viewed of the season on any network.

In addition, Sunday marked just the sixth time in fourteen weeks this season this season that ratings and viewership did not decline for the NFL national window.
