NBC Sports was vague when asked about Tom Hammond‘s status on Notre Dame football coverage next season. In other news, ESPN anchor Stuart Scott is again dealing with cancer, and ESPN reporter George Smith has left the network.

  • NBC Vague on Hammond’s Status: NBC Sports did not confirm or deny that Notre Dame play-by-play voice Tom Hammond will be replaced next season, Sports Illustrated reported Monday.
