NFL Playoffs: Seahawks/Falcons Scores Only Increase of Weekend

The blowout-turned-thriller between the Seahawks and Falcons scored the only increase in overnight ratings on Divisional Round weekend.

The Seahawks/Falcons NFC Divisional Round game drew a 21.3 overnight rating on FOX Sunday afternoon, up 3% from Texans/Ravens on CBS last year (20.6), and up 3% from Seahawks/Bears on FOX in 2011 (20.7).

The 21.3 is the second-highest for the early Sunday Divisional Round window since at least the 1997-98 season, trailing only Cowboys/Vikings in 2010 (23.9).

Seahawks/Falcons was the only game over the weekend to have an increase in overnight ratings. The increase is rather impressive considering that the Falcons led 20-0 at halftime.
