ESPN NBA analyst Magic Johnson is headed to the broadcast booth for a college basketball game next week. In other news, ESPN NBA voice Mike Tirico will call a pair of games on Sunday, and former NFLer Jeff Saturday will be a guest analyst on ESPN next week.

  • Johnson to Call College Hoops Game With Vitale: ESPN NBA analyst Earvin “Magic” Johnson will serve as a game analyst for the February 19 Indiana/Michigan State men’s college basketball game on ESPN, the network announced Wednesday. Johnson, who once served as a game analyst for NBA games on NBC, will work in a three-man booth with analyst Dick Vitale and play-by-play voice Mike Tirico. (ESPN Front Row)
  • Tirico to Call Two NBA Games Sunday: Speaking of Mike Tirico, the veteran play-by-play voice will call two NBA games on ESPN networks this Sunday. First, Tirico will call the 1 PM ET Clippers/Knicks game on ABC with analyst Hubie Brown. Later in the evening, he will make the trip to Brooklyn for the 7 PM Spurs/Nets game on ESPN with analyst Jon Barry. (ESPN Media Zone)
