Idle Notes: NBCSN Gives Up on “The Crossover” (Also: NBA Inside Stuff, TV Deals)

After less than a year on the air, Michelle Beadle‘s “The Crossover” has been canceled. In other news, NBA TV has announced a reboot of “NBA Inside Stuff,” and The Golf Channel and ESPN have both reached new deals with small events.

Months After Debut, “The Crossover” Canceled

  • NBC Sports Network has canceled Michelle Beadle vehicle “The Crossover” less than one year after its debut. In just eight months on the air, the show had two iterations — launching with Beadle and co-host Dave Briggs in February and then retooling with just Beadle in May. (The Big Lead)

NBA TV to Reboot “NBA Inside Stuff”

  • NBA TV earlier this week announced plans to reboot “NBA Inside Stuff” starting in November. The new version of the show, which last aired in 2005, will be hosted by Turner Sports newcomer Grant Hill and Atlanta radio host Kristen Ledlow. Golf Channel Keeps Euro Tour; ESPN Extends Indian Wells

    I grew up watching Inside Stuff and I got the Inside Stuff VHS 2 pack back in the day where you would never seen 2 tapes together sold. I’m so happy the show is back, The show will be a hit for sure. Hopefully after NBATV airs some, It can move to TNT or TBS or even TruTV. As long as they get back on National TV after a season or two, People will love this new generation gets a good different take on the game they never had.
