CBS college hoops analyst Clark Kellogg is reportedly headed back to the studio.

Sports Illustrated reported late Sunday night that CBS Sports will name Greg Anthony the lead analyst for the network’s college basketball game telecasts, replacing Kellogg. Kellogg will in turn replace Anthony in the studio.

Kellogg has been the lead college basketball analyst for CBS since the network dropped Billy Packer in 2008.

Anthony, who also works NBA coverage for NBA TV and TNT, is expected to work alongside Jim Nantz and Steve Kerr on CBS/Turner Sports coverage of the Final Four.

I read an article on The Big Lead pertaining to this switch between Anthony and Kellogg and it is reported that the new president of CBS Sports is the reason for this. I like Greg Anthony but I never quite payed attention to him as a Game Analyst so this ought to be interesting. Also I didn’t know that “one source pegs the financial split as 80% Turner, 20% CBS” coming from the same article in the Big Lead. I thought Post-ABC Sports was sad, but CBS Sports is in the neighborhood.
