The closer-than-expected battle between the Bulls and Hawks has earned stronger-than-expected numbers on TNT.
The Hawks’ series-tying Game 4 win over the Bulls earned a 4.6 overnight rating on TNT Sunday night, up 31% from last year (PHX/SA G4: 3.5). The game drew the third-highest overnight of the second round on TNT (seven telecasts), behind only two Mavericks/Lakers games, and ahead of Celtics/Heat Game 2 (4.5).
Game 4 earned a massive 20.1 rating in Chicago, the nation’s third-largest TV market. Atlanta continues to post much less impressive numbers, with Game 4 earning a 7.9.
