Notable Items

  • The NFL season will again begin with back-to-back nights of primetime games, but with the league unable to schedule a contest for Friday night as in the past two seasons, it will instead move up the Kickoff Game to Wednesday.
  • New this NFL season, Netflix will carry an expanded five-game schedule as part of a new media rights agreement. The schedule includes the Week 1 International Series game from Melbourne, Australia (49ers-Rams), a new “Thanksgiving Eve” game between the Packers and Rams, the usual Christmas Day doubleheader, and a Saturday matchup in Week 18.
  • FOX will carry a Christmas night game this season, the first time the league has scheduled a game on the holiday for broadcast television since 2023.
  • NFL Network is now owned by Disney, and its games will be produced by ESPN.

NFL games will be carried on nine different platforms this season — CBS, FOX, ESPN, ABC, NBC, Peacock, Prime Video, Netflix and NFL Network — which can be watched through the following platforms:

  • Paramount+: All CBS games.
  • Peacock: All NBC games, plus an exclusive Week 17 window.
