- New Ratings Record For OKC Thunder: Game 2 of the Lakers/Thunder second round NBA playoff series drew a 30.3 rating on TNT in Oklahoma City, the highest rating ever for a Thunder telecast in the market. The previous record was set by Game 1 of the series on Monday (27.1). The game also drew a 12.2 rating in Tulsa. (The Oklahoman)
- ESPN Has Most-Viewed EPL Season: The ESPN family of networks averaged a 0.23 U.S. rating and 321,000 viewers for the 2011-12 English Premier League season, up 10% in ratings and 7% in viewership from last year (0.21, 301K), and the most-viewed EPL season ever on ESPN. The season included three of the five most-viewed EPL matches on ESPN, led by Manchester City/Manchester United on April 30 — the most-viewed EPL telecast ever on U.S. cable television. - 3.7 Overnight For Heat/Pacers Game 3: Thursday’s Game 3 of the Heat/Pacers series drew a 3.7 overnight on ESPN. There was no game on the comparable night last year. Compared to ESPN’s first second round game last year — Bulls/Hawks Game 3 on a Friday night — Heat/Pacers was up 28% from a 2.9 overnight. (ESPN)
