A busy final week of the NFL season has led to several changes in the NFL schedule.
Broncos/Chargers has been moved from a 4:15 PM start to 8:15, as part of NBC’s Sunday Night Football schedule. There had been speculation that NBC would air Jets/Dolphins — and even a rumor than the network would air Packers/Lions, which could feature the NFL’s first 0-16 team. In the end, the league and the network decided on a one-game battle for the AFC West title.
The aforementioned Jets/Dolphins game will instead be moved from 1 PM to 4:15, as part of a CBS doubleheader. The same will occur for Jaguars/Ravens. Both games have major playoff implications; if the Jets beat Miami and the Ravens lose, the Jets get the Wild Card (the Jets could also get in the playoffs if they beat Miami and the Patriots lose).
On FOX, which is also airing a doubleheader, Cowboys/Eagles has also been moved from 1 to 4:15. If the Cowboys win, they get into the playoffs.
Schedule changes in Week 17.
Jets/Dolphins: moved from 1 PM to 4:15 PM on CBS.
Jaguars/Ravens: moved from 1 PM to 4:15 PM on CBS.
Cowboys/Eagles: moved from 1 PM to 4:15 PM on FOX.
Broncos Chargers: moved from 4:15 PM on CBS to 8:15 PM on NBC.
