2013 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs TV Schedule

The schedule for the 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs in both the United States (NBC, NBCSN, CNBC and NHL Network) and Canada (CBC, TSN and RDS). Click here to jump to the schedule.

Thanks to an owner-imposed lockout that shortened the season to 48 games, the Stanley Cup Playoffs will begin on April 30 (more than two weeks later than last year). That night, the defending champion Kings begin their title defense against the Blues (CNBC, CBC), while the league-leading Blackhawks open against the Wild (NBCSN, CBC). The night concludes with the Red Wings and Ducks (NBCSN, TSN).

The NBC broadcast network begins playoff coverage on May 4, with Rangers/Capitals Game 2 at 12:30 PM ET. The following day, the network has both Penguins/Islanders Game 3 (Noon ET) and Blackhawks/Wild Game 3 (3 PM).

In a new wrinkle this year, NBC is scheduled to air a second round playoff game in primetime on May 25. Outside of the Stanley Cup Final, the telecast will be the second primetime NHL window on NBC since the network began airing games in 2006 (the 2011 Winter Classic also aired in primetime due to weather delays).
